Get Outside Gear Sale
Friends of the Dunes invites outdoor enthusiasts and community members to participate in the highly anticipated, annual, Get Outside Gear Sale on Saturday, April 5th! This event offers an incredible opportunity to get fantastic deals on gently used outdoor gear while supporting a vital cause: providing free outdoor education programs for our community in Humboldt County and nurturing our precious dune ecosystems. What can you find at the sale? A wide range of outdoor gear, including camping and backpacking equipment, kayaks, canoes, surfboards, bicycles, hiking boots, and much more!
Exclusive early access will be granted to Friends of the Dunes members from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a public sale from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Don’t miss the chance for even deeper discounts at 2:00 p.m. when prices are slashed on any remaining gear!
The Get Outside Gear Sale not only supports Friends of the Dunes’ education and stewardship initiatives but also promotes sustainable practices by encouraging the purchase of used gear—benefiting both the community and the environment.
