“Get ready for earthquakes” book signing

Local author Lin Glen will be signing her recently-published children’s book “Sofie and Daniel Get Ready for Earthquakes” on Saturday, Oct. 1st at the Clarke Museum at 240 E St. in Eureka from 6 to 9 p.m. during Arts Alive. The unique storybook shows families how to get ready for earthquakes and tsunamis together. There will also be a how-to demonstration of a basic family emergency kit in recognition of October’s Great California ShakeOut (ShakeOut is on 10/20 at 10:20 a.m.)
