Grandparents/Grandkids Day

Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Celebrate grandparents and grandchildren at this fun, educational event. Activities include arts and crafts, hands-on nature exploration, displays, specimens and oodles of information about butterflies, moths and more. Join local native garden and insect experts and authors Pete and Judy Haggard out on the trail. Learn about feeding and raising butterflies from the folks at Butterfly Way.

Gather up your friends and family and bring a picnic out to the refuge for the afternoon.
