Guided Interpretive Forest Hike
The Arcata Recreation Division would like to invite the community to a FREE guided forest walk in the Arcata Community Forest on Sunday December 7 at 10 a.m. This walk will be guided by Cal Poly Humboldt students who are members of the Redwood Chapter of Environmental Educators and Interpreters. Guides will identify and highlight the history and ecology of the Arcata Community Forest.
Please bring sturdy hiking footwear, water bottle and comfortable hiking clothes. This event will go rain or shine, but if the team decides conditions are unsafe due to heavy rain or strong wind gusts it will be cancelled to keep participants safe.
Please meet at the Redwood Park Picnic Area (490 E. Park Road) no later than 10 a.m.
