HARP Informational Meeting

HARP is the newly formed Humboldt Alliance for Responsible Planning. This informational public meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, will introduce HARP, explain the group’s goals, and recruit members and supporters. HARP was formed to foster citizen and community involvement in review of major land development proposals that may have substantial effect on community quality of life and the environment. HARP’s current project is the Trinidad Rancheria’s proposed 100-room casino-hotel on the bluff above Scenic Drive.
