HBG’s Summer Concerts at the Garden

In the magical world of Old Growth Redwoods and The Legendary Bigfoot, A Banjo Makes Three was born. An upright bass, guitar, and banjo joined forces as a bluegrass band in the Humboldt music scene. After a few open jams, they recruited a very seasoned musician on the mandolin and an incredibly talented fiddle player. Their lead vocalist brings the chops and lonesome vocals to make a true traditional bluegrass band. Since 2019, A Banjo Makes Three has been working to keep traditional bluegrass alive in Humboldt County.
This family friendly event invites you to enjoy the music while sipping wine, beer, and other refreshments. All food and drinks will be available for purchase by local food vendors and The Café Artistes (barista coffees, teas, and pastries), making it easy to settle in for a relaxing afternoon. All this while being surrounded by the majestic beauty of nature and our many world-class botanical gardens!
