Venipuncture Date: September 25, 2016 Day: Sunday Time: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Fee: $125 Location: CR Eureka Campus 7351 Tompkins Hill Road Eureka, Room AT 126 This one-day blood draw training is for those who are employed, or seeking employment, in a medical office setting and will be working under the supervision of a physician. It meets the standards and qualifications established by the Division of Allied Health Professionals, Board of Medical Quality Assurance, and State of California. Course Objectives: Know the anatomy of the veins How to successfully draw blood from a patient Know the possible complications of drawing blood Be able to do capillary puncture in checking blood glucose Know Universal precautions
