Hits From The Gong: A Fierce Somatic Sound Immersion

See Event Description

Hits From The Gong is a gong-heavy sound immersion where the full voice of multiple gongs is brought forward and allowed to speak.

In this experience the sound is sustained, powerful, and immersive, forming a coherent field of vibration that fills the space and is felt over time. Rather than quieting the mind through gentleness alone, this work meets what has been held through depth and resonance, allowing stagnation to loosen and what is ready to move to move.

As the sound unfolds, energy may begin to shift. Tension can soften. Old patterns may lose coherence. What remains is often a deeper sense of alignment with one’s true path and a grounded clarity that arises without effort.

This offering speaks to the sacred fire within us. The Warrior. Sacred anger and fierceness as vital, life-preserving forces. In a culture that offers little guidance for healthy expression of these energies, sound becomes a place where they can be felt, witnessed, and integrated without harm or suppression. Not to shatter the self, but to break it open so what is true can move forward.

Supporting elements such as drumming, silence, and spacious integration may be woven in, though the gongs remain the central voice throughout the journey.

This is a confronting and deeply somatic experience. Participants with sound sensitivity are encouraged to bring earplugs and to listen inwardly, honoring their own capacity throughout the session.

Supporting instruments such as crystal bowls, shruti box, drumming, chimes, and the medicine of silence flow together to create gentle arcs. At times, intentional scents such as Palo Santo, cedar, frankincense, or copal may be present to anchor you more fully.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to settle in so we can begin at 6:30 PM.

There are eight aerial silk hammocks available on a first come first served basis. Bring anything you need to be comfortable, a mat, blanket, water, pillow, or bolster.

The path to The Sanctuary and parking details will be shared upon booking.
