Holiday Craft Bonanza

SCRAP Humboldt

Looking for unique one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts this holiday season? SCRAP Humboldt’s 2nd annual Holiday Craft Bonanza on Friday, December 12 during Arts! Arcata from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday December 13th from 10a.m. to 6p.m. showcases artists who creatively reuse materials in their wares, such as wood, wool sweaters, vintage maps, found metals and more! Not just a craft fair, there will be music, treats, a kid’s craft project and gift wrapping! The Holiday Craft Bonanza will be located at SCRAP Humboldt and the adjacent Commons House at the Marsh Commons. If you making all of your own holiday gifts or decorations this season, SCRAP not only has inspiration galore, but affordable materials available to make this holiday season heartfelt and creative. SCRAP Humboldt is Humboldt County’s first creative reuse center located in the Marsh District, on the corner of south G street and H street in Arcata. SCRAP Humboldt is a project of SCRAP a 501c3 nonprofit. SCRAP Humboldt plays a vital role in our community by diverting useable materials from the waste stream, educating people about creative reuse and providing inexpensive art, craft, and office supplies.
