Hollow Form Basics Workshop

Learn the basics of creating hollow forms on March 22nd from 1-5pm.
Our resident metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through model making, multi step soldering of hollow forms, and finishing.
You’ll leave this workshop with 1 small, copper, hollow form bead/pendant.
This is an introductory workshop, however, familiarity with the jeweler’s saw is highly recommended.
All supplies included.
Students must be 18 years or older.

To use the studio you must:
Sign a Liability Waiver
Wear closed toed shoes
Wear appropriate eye protection
Wear splash goggles when using the soldering area
Note: 1 pair is available in the studio at the soldering station. If you would like your own pair please bring them.
Tie back long hair
Secure loose clothing
Follow all posted Studio rules
Follow directions from instructor and/or studio monitors
We also highly suggest wearing natural fibers like cotton, hemp, etc. Synthetic fibers contain plastic that may melt onto your skin if they come into contact with heat!
