Live in the Big Top Circus Tent 1275 8th St, Arcata, CA 95521 Fans of music and dancing can make plans to be at the Big Top Circus Tent in Arcata for a dance party with local Humboldt dance band Home Cookin’ on Saturday, July 9th, starting at 7:00 p.m. Guests will want to bring their dancing shoes and prepare to shake their groove thing. The band promises to deliver a range of musical flavors with a repertoire of original tunes and rock standards. Composed of legendary local musical veterans, Joyce Hough, Gary Davidson, Fred Neighbor, and Mike Labolle, Home Cookin’ serves up savory musical entrees with a saucy backbeat. Tickets are $15 and will benefit the upcoming October 1st Migrations event created and coordinated by Round Story, a project of Playhouse Arts.
