Home Grown Host Information Session

See Event Description

Do you have a spare bedroom (or other livable space) collecting dust? You can put that room to good use by hosting a youth in need for a short stay! Home Grown works with transition-aged youth (ages 18-24) in Humboldt County who are experiencing housing instability to attain stable short-term housing. We use the Host Home model, where caring community members volunteer to open up their homes and their hearts to “host” a youth for 1-12 months. YOU can start 2022 off right by making a difference as a “host” by providing a young adult with housing, stability, and mentorship! To find out how YOU can make a difference as a “host” and to register to attend our virtual host info session on Monday, January 31st from 6PM-6:30PM, contact Joann at info@homegrownhosthomes.org. For more information on Home Grown you can visit our website at www.homegrownhosthomes.org. #newyearresolutions #newbeginnings #2022goals #hosthomes #volunteer #makeadifference #communitysupport #housing #endhomelessness
