How to Stand Up for the Planet
The American Association of University Women (AAUW)-Humboldt will meet Saturday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Wharfinger Building (lower level), One Marina Way, Eureka. Speaker Dr. Sarah Jaquette Ray, chair of the Environmental Studies Department at Cal Poly Humboldt, will draw on the themes from her most recent book, A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety: How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet, to address a wide range of issues related to climate advocacy.
