HSU Composers Concert
Please join the HSU Department of Music for an evening of original student compositions on Friday, November 3 at 8:00 p.m. in Fulkerson Recital Hall. Led by composition professor Brian Post, these talented students will present seven original works for a variety of instruments including mallet percussion, solo piano, solo cello, woodwinds, string quartet, and a larger scale piece featuring members of the HSU Wind Ensemble. The featured student composers who will also all double as performers are Sabrina Fisher, Sandee Castaneda, Aidan Sanborn-Petterson, and Charles McClung. Also performing the music are students Avery Alexander, Ryan Franzen, Marie Lopez, Patrick Hassett, Courtney Abajian, Richard Rios, Marcie Jimenez, and Matthew Wardynski. Guest faculty and staff performers are Garrick Woods, John Chernoff, and Brian Post. $8 General, $5 Senior/Child, FREE for HSU students with ID.
