HSU Opera Workshop
HSU Opera Workshop discovers lost vocal music of Portugal, from medieval to modern, including excerpts of an 18th century opera never heard on the West Coast before. Thirteen singers are accompanied by John Chernoff on harpsichord and Kinu Manabe on bass. Special guest performer Gregg Moore accompanies soprano (and native of Portugal) Ana Cruz on two songs in the popular Fado style.
