The Humboldt Arts Festival is BACK! The two day festival will take place at the Arcata Creamery District (8&L) on May 17th & 18th, and will coincide with Humboldt State University’s graduation weekend. The event will showcase a massive arts exhibit featuring a wide range of mediums including illustration, photography, painting, installation, performance, an outdoor sculpture garden and more! In addition to holding visual arts receptions at Redwood Raks & the Arcata Playhouse. More than forty music and dance performances including headliners Absynth Quintet, Humboldt State Calypso Band, & Jah Sun will rock the multiple stages in and around the Creamery building for the duration of the weekend. Stay tuned for our line up! If you are looking for the perfect gift for that grad, family member, or loved one make sure to check out all of the amazing arts and crafts vendors that will be featured at our event. Delicious food and beverages for all tastes will be available including local beer and wine.

Since it’s inception in November of 2009, The Humboldt Arts Project has sought to bring artists, businesses and community leaders together in order to put on events that celebrate the beauty and diversity of our artistic community. This year the H.A.P. has partnered with the Creamery District, Redwood Raks, and the Arcata Playhouse to bring you the Fourth Humboldt Arts Festival. Our main goal with the HAF is to promote the commercial development of the visual and performing arts in Humboldt County. All proceeds from this event will go into funding the annual Humboldt Arts Festival and Arts Arcata HAP events.
