What: Roller Derby! Where: Redwood Acres Fairgrounds, Eureka Doors open at 5:00 P.M. First bout at 6:00 P.M. 2nd bout at 7:30-ish Tickets are available on brownpapertickets.com and locally at Wildberries Marketplace, People’s Records, The Works, The Local Beer Bar, and STIL. Come on out and cheer on Humboldt Roller Derby at another Double Header game Saturday, May 17th at Redwood Acres in Eureka, Ca. Disco themed bout - Wear your best disco gear and you just might win a prize! Doors will open at 5.pm. The first game will begin at 6pm. At 6pm, the Redwood Saplings will play Black Vs White. These girls ages 12-18 have been training hard all season and are prepared to show you their skill and talent. It will certainly be a fun game to watch as teammates battle against each other for victory! The Second game will start at 7:30ish. For the second year in a row the Widow Makers will be facing off against Viva Roller Derby. Last season, the Widow Makers won a hard hitting and thrilling bout, 224-169. This season will be another competitive match up: the Widow Makers have been training hard to take on the Viva All Stars. A portion of the proceeds from this bout will benefit the North Coast Breast Health Project. Come on out and have some fun with us!
