The Humboldt Rose Society is holding its annual plant sale at the Redwood Acres Fairground’s Rose Garden on Saturday, June 5. Father’s Day is approaching. Get Dad, or even yourself, a gift that keeps on giving, a live plant. Buy a rose or other plant that is known to flourish in Humboldt County. The sale starts at 10 a.m. and goes to 4 p.m. Consulting rosarians, rose experts, will also be able to answer your rose cultivation questions. The Redwood Acres Fairground rose garden is located at the north end of the fairgrounds near the livestock show ring. Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Masks and social distancing are required.
