The Rotary Club of Arcata and North Bay Rotaract are proud to announce the 12th Annual Humboldt Wine Festival on Saturday March 21st, 2020, held from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. at Humboldt State University in the Kate Buchanan Room. Admission tickets are only $60 pre-sale and $70 at the door, which include meeting local wine makers, unlimited tastings of the wines of Humboldt and Trinity Counties, and a wide selection of locally sourced gourmet treats. Enter our Wine Lover’s raffle for a chance to win a trip for two to Costa Rica, including airfare and 10 nights of accommodations. Tickets are only $20 each, or 6 for $100. The drawing will be held at the Wine Festival, but you need not be present to win. You can also play wine-themed games (where everyone’s a winner!) and test your luck in winning locally donated items in our Dutch raffle. Hundreds of folks each year enjoy our primary fundraiser event, which helps to fund our local and global community service projects. Through your donations as well as ticket and raffle purchases we are able to contribute to such projects as Renovation of Arcata Playgrounds, The Arcata High Career Center, Dictionaries for Third Graders, High School Scholarships, High School Youth Exchange, The Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon, our International La Trinidad Costa Rica Micro-loans partnership, Rotary International Polio Eradication, and many more.
