I Block Party

The 31st annual I Block Party, with live music and free admission, is on Monday, September 5th, from 12-6 in front of Los Bagels in Arcata. Music from The Latin Peppers, SambAmore, Lizzy and the Moonbeams, and Timbata. Enjoy local microbrews, and delicious barbequed chicken, albacore or tofu. Cold drinks and locally made desserts, and a raffle and silent auction. Bring the kids for free face-painting! The I Block Party is the annual fundraiser for the Arcata-Camoapa Sister City Project, which is celebrating 30 years of international friendship and solidarity. All proceeds benefit Camoapa, Nicaragua.
