I Block Party

Free admission! Join the festivities at the 36th Annual I Block Party taking place this year on Labor Day, Monday September 4th from noon-6pm in front of Los Bagels in Arcata. It is a fun-for-the-whole-family event to benefit Arcata’s sister city Camoapa, Nicaragua. Each year Arcata residents raise money to support education, clean water, and humanitarian projects in Arcata’s sister city of Camoapa, Nicaragua. The party includes live music by Lizzy and the Moonbeams, Citizen Funk, and Timbata. There will be local beers, hard cider, albacore, chicken, or tofu barbecued dinner, desserts, a kids’ area, a silent auction, and raffle.
