Celebrate 40 years of community, culture, and connection at the 40th Annual I Block Party / Sanctuary Day, a beloved Arcata tradition benefiting Centro del Pueblo.

Join us on Monday, September 7, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a free, family-friendly celebration filled with live music, dance, cultural performances, local food, craft microbrews, art, and activities for all ages.

This year’s exciting entertainment lineup features The Mighty Dynamites, Missing Pieces, Girasoles Armónicos, Latin Peppers, traditional Mariachi and Folclórico performances, high-energy dance performances by the Fuego Dancers featuring Bella Rose, Selma Bernard, Miss Riss, and Miss Julie Hayes with Salsa at Six, plus performances by the Humboldt Rockers, music from DJ Spadafora and DJ Pressure, and more!

Beyond the entertainment, attendees can enjoy live art, face painting, a Kids Zone, a raffle and silent auction, delicious food, and refreshing microbrews while connecting with local organizations, artists, neighbors, and friends.

More than just a festival, Sanctuary Day is a celebration of the diverse cultures, resilience, and community spirit that make Humboldt County such a special place. Proceeds from the event support the important work of Centro del Pueblo, helping strengthen and empower our local community.
