Imaad Wasif, Bleater
The Miniplex at Richards’ Goat Tavern
Imaad Wasif (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, lowercase, alaska!) is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer known for his emotionally charged songs and mercurial sound.
He’s released seven solo albums to date including 2026’s acclaimed “Superconsciousness.” With a history including collaborations with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Karen O, Lou Barlow, fronting the L.A. underground slowcore band lowercase, the psych-rock mavericks alaska! and the death folk project Grim Tower (with Stephen Mcbean from Black Mountain) he continues to push the boundaries of rock, folk, and experimental music.
“I’m trying to reconnect to the embryonic pure state, outside of all the insanity of the world right now. This is the most vulnerable thing I can do in front of an audience. I’m leaning farther into the traditions of dark folk.”
Dubbed as the “Acoustic Obscura Tour,” Imaad Wasif continues doing what he does best - playing intimate venues and performing stripped down solo acoustic versions of his songs. On this tour, he’ll explore music from all his solo albums and beyond, including a new EP ‘Demon’s Way.’
Don’t miss opening set from Humboldt’s own aura laden, moss-core acoustic ensemble, Bleater. Doors at 7pm. Music at 7:30pm. 21+
