Intro to C 15 Sailing

Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center

Learn the basics of sailing a Coronado 15 on Humboldt Bay! A Coronado 15 or C-15 is a slightly larger sailboat with more space than the Lasers, and can fit up to four participants per boat including the instructor. Learn about sailing safety, using a boat equipped with 2 sails, steering and navigating the bay, and other helpful sailing knowledge. This course includes an on-land evening instruction & a full day class that will give you the knowledge & confidence to set you up for more sailing fun in the future! Come get a chance to experience the Humboldt Bay like never before, with the power of the wind! Program Fee Includes: a total of 7-hours of instruction both on land & on water, all sailing gear, wetsuit, booties, PFD, and splash top.
