Introduction to Windsurfing

Recreation and Wellness Center, HSU Campus

With some of the world’s greatest windsurfing spots right here in Humboldt County, this is an opportunity to learn one of the most versatile forms of sailing. This course is designed for beginners, combining both a classroom pre-trip session as well as an outdoor. Participants will get familiar with the sport by learning the basic knots, equipment and weather considerations needed to enjoy windsurfing. Price Includes: instruction, windsurfing equipment, and wetsuit. Transportation will be by carpool. Mandatory Pre-trip Meeting: Tuesday, Sept. 8th, 6:00 PM
