Jacoby Creek Willow Planting Volunteer Day

Come volunteer to help restore salmon habitat in Jacoby Creek! Help us plant willow and other native trees to stabilize eroding stream banks. Refreshments will be provided and we will host a BBQ at the end of the work day! Wear layers and work boots- be prepared for wet and muddy conditions. Directions: From US HWY 101 Take the Bayside Cutoff then Turn Left on Old Arcata Rd. Turn Right onto Jacoby Creek Rd and drive 1 mile. Lookout for project signs on the right side of the road. Parking: Parking space is limited so carpooling is highly encouraged. Free carpool is offered (with RSVP) at HSU in front of the Natural Resources building at 8:45 AM. Additional parking at 4008 Brookwood Drive (drive southeast on Jacoby Creek Road and turn right onto Brookwood Drive).
