Jazz is Peace: Right Here, Right Now

In Right Here, Right Now and Community through Music, Peace Through Community (August 2nd), join hosts Katie Belknap and James Zeller as they look at the themes of “the present moment” and “community” to create a memorable and poignant show around them. The show will feature original music composed for the event, as well as classic songs inspired by the theme. They will be informed by musical sources as well as by the words of spiritual guides like Thich Nhat Hanh, Martin Luther King Jr, bell hooks, and more.

Humboldt Jazz Collective members James Zeller, Matthew Seno, Ramsey Isaacs, Danny Gaon, and Katie Belknap will be joined by special guests.
