July 4th Weekend Trailhead Hosts in Shelter Cove

July 4th is one of the busiest weekends of summer on the Lost Coast and on July -5, BLM King Range and Friends of the Lost Coast seek volunteers to be Trailhead Hosts at Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove. Trailhead Hosts help engage the public on busy summer weekends, available to answer questions, talk beach safety, and share information about the Lost Coast – all while enjoying the views above Black Sands Beach. This always-fun volunteer opportunity is a great way to celebrate July 4th Weekend, Friday-Sunday, July 3-5, and help steward public lands. Email justin@lostcoast.org to volunteer.
