KEET’s Kids Club

Morris Graves Museum of Art

In partnership with KEET-TV and the Ready-to-Learn initiative, the Humboldt Arts Council in the Morris Graves Museum of Art offers FREE monthly workshops for children, families, and childcare providers every first Saturday of the month from 12 to 2 p.m.  These FREE monthly workshops, led by Jackie Hamilton from KEET-TV, are geared to provide youth ages 2 to 8 years old with critical reading and comprehension skills.  Based on the learning triangle, workshops are comprised of viewing a segment of PBS Kid’s programming, reading a short story, and doing art activities to incorporate the material.   In addition, each family receives a FREE BOOK!  June’s book is If I Could Drive a Fire Truck by Michael Teitelbaum.  KEET’s Kids Club meets Saturday, June 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Youth Classroom at the Morris Graves Museum of Art! The Morris Graves Museum of Art is located at 636 F Street, Eureka.  For more information: 442-0278 ext. 201
