Kiln Fired Enamels Workshop

Join us for some colorful creativity while making your own enameled earrings or pendant on June 5th from 5-8pm.

Erin Austin, will guide you through sifting enamel (powdered glass) using a variety of pattern making methods, and firing your piece in a kiln.

You’ll leave this workshop with a pendant or pair of earrings and a variety of samples that you’ll create as you learn.

All supplies included.

Students must be 18 years or older.

To use the studio you must:

Sign a Liability Waiver
Wear closed toed shoes
Wear appropriate eye protection
Wear splash goggles when using the soldering area
Note: 1 pair is available in the studio at the soldering station. If you would like your own pair please bring them.
Tie back long hair
Secure loose clothing
Follow all posted Studio rules
Follow directions from instructor and/or studio monitors
We also highly suggest wearing natural fibers like cotton, hemp, etc. Synthetic fibers contain plastic that may melt onto your skin if they come into contact with heat!
