Self-Defense Workshop for Survivors (14+)
Presented by Humboldt Domestic Violence Services

This workshop is designed for all survivors aged 14 and up, with no prior experience required. Participants will learn and practice simple and effective verbal and physical self-defense techniques, along with awareness and prevention strategies.

About the Instructor:
The instructor has been active in the Rape Crisis Movement since 1987, beginning as a volunteer and advocate, and later as an educator. With experience in teaching Empowerment Self Defense (ESD) since 1998, they have developed and taught self-defense courses for colleges, community workshops, seniors, and teens.
