Kokte Ranch Restoration Day

Kokte Ranch - 2182 Old Arcata Rd., Bayside

The Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) and Jacoby Creek Land Trust are partnering to host a Watershed Awareness Volunteer Event (W.A.V.E.) on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm! Come get outside with friends and family to pull invasive plants and improve Jacoby Creek salmonid habitat! Bring closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, a water bottle, and your appetite, as volunteers will enjoy a FREE BBQ & raffle at the end of the event. Meet at Kokte Ranch at 10 am on April 13th, with the raffle and BBQ commencing around 1:30. Tools and snacks provided. The event is happening rain or shine, and even if you can’t make the whole thing, come anyway!

The Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) is dedicated to improving watershed health by actively engaging in restoration science, civic service, and community education while empowering the next generation of environmental stewards.
