Kombucha Making 101
Join in and start making your own kombucha with confidence! Kombucha is a fermented tea drink that has been around for centuries. Kombucha is essentially a colony of bacteria and yeast, made by adding the colony to sugar and tea and allowing the mix to ferment. The bacteria and probiotics in kombucha are the components in the drink that are proven to aide in digestion and even strengthen the immune system! We will start your first batch of kombucha in class! Location is at Foodwise Kitchen, 971 8th Street, Arcata, CA, 95521. Register with Center Activities by Wednesday before the class.
