Lagoon Tire Toss or Ivy Pull
Join the Watershed Stewards Program & California State Parks to remove tires from Big Lagoon shoreline!
Tire removal depends on the depth of the lagoon on the day of the event, so if the water is too deep we will be removing Ivy and other invasive plants. Help us improve water quality and remove invasive species!
Meet at Stone Lagoon Visitor Center on the US 101 at 10AM to caravan to our worksite. Parking is limit and carpooling is encouraged.
Please bring a water bottle, rain boots, and clothes you do not mind getting muddy. Waders would be helpful for the tire pull but are not necessary. Gloves and tools will be available to borrow.
In addition, all participants will receive one free day use pass to Patrick’s Point State Park. All ages welcome!
