Sheriff William Honsal of Humboldt County will talk about “Sheriff Office Challenges with Legal Recreational Marijuana” at a forum at noon Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Samoa Cookhouse. Honsal, who became sheriff last year, will speak on how his office is handling enforcement since Jan. 1 when the California law took effect. He will also answer questions. The forum is open to the public. Lunch is no-host and admission Is free. The forum is a program of the North Coast Mensa organization.
