Spring is in the air. Is your garden beckoning? Come get tips on fertilizers for roses, organic and inorganic, from rosarian Jack Saffell on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m., at the Humboldt Rose Society’s regular meeting. The group meets at Christ Church, Episcopal, in the Lewis Room, at 15th and H Streets in Eureka, 7 p.m. (entry on 15th). Ample parking at 14th and G St. There are always refreshments, door prizes, and a warm welcome to guests, long-time rose growers, or wish-they-were’s, with helpful information available.
