Lecture: Conifers Country: 2019 Updates from the Field
Michael Kauffmann local educator, author, and ecologist has been tracking the ecology and distribution of the conifers of Klamath County for over 15 years. His book, Conifer Country, is the definitive field guide to the region. Recently he has been working with the Native Plant society and Klamath, Six Rivers, and Modoc National Forests updating the status of rare conifers. His book will be available for sale in the museum bookstore and the museum is open until 9 p.m. that night so you can shop before you hear the lecture.
