Lecture: Modern Applications for a Skill Older than Humanity

Learn with professional tracker, Phil Johnston, about the history and skill of tracking wildlife. Phil works for the CDFW is a mountain lion biologist. An alum of HSU, he currently works in the Eastern Sierra leading mountain lion research and is pioneering non-lethal strategies to protect endangered Sierra bighorn from mountain lion predation. Phil has lead many tracking workshops locally and is passionate about local wildlife. Come and learn about the ancient art of track and sign as Phil shares some of his amazing experiences. Donations are appreciated. Arrive early for a good seat.
