Lhatsik Harutkshi “Moving Stories” Wiyot Film Festival
Join us for the Lhatsik Harutkshi (Moving Stories) Wiyot Film Festival, a two-day celebration of contemporary Indigenous storytelling through film, held on November 14–15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the historic Eureka Theater in Eureka, California. This year’s expanded festival showcases powerful works from local, national, and international Indigenous filmmakers, highlighting living cultures, languages, and movements shaping the world today.
Hosted at the beautiful historic Eureka Theater, the festival also serves as a fundraiser for the Wiyot Tribe’s Cultural Department, supporting ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Wiyot heritage. Open to all community members and visitors, this event invites you to experience diverse perspectives and stories that inspire understanding and connection.
There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door, and all entry and submission fees are waived for Wiyot Tribal members. Come enjoy groundbreaking films, meaningful conversations, and the vibrant spirit of Wiyot culture — right here on California’s North Coast.
