Welcome to the liminal space: a strange, nostalgic dreamworld where the familiar turns surreal. Liminal spaces are places that feel suspended in time, like you’ve been there in a dream, or a lost memory. For one night only, we’re transforming the Miniplex into a fully immersive art installation that brings this aesthetic to life.

🕗 8 PM: The night kicks off with a champagne & cake celebration, and the unveiling of “Welcome to the Backrooms,” an immersive art installation experience inspired by internet horror aesthetics. Featuring eerie exit signs, chilling glimpses of “entities,” curated vintage pieces from the ‘90s and early 2000s, and surprises designed to stir memory and imagination. It’s part haunted house, part nostalgia trip, part liminal dream.

🕘 9 PM: Experience a one-night-only early listening party for Wishing Star Theater, the debut album by local musician Lake Roswell, a week before the public release. This electronic singer-songwriter project blends dreamy vocals with ambient textures and story-driven songwriting inspired by liminal spaces, the backrooms, and bittersweet memory. Enjoy liminal visuals on the projector, themed cocktails, and fully decorated space to dance, relax, or get lost in the mood.

🕙 10 PM: DJ Homie D closes the night in the Funrooms (the main bar) with an eclectic vinyl set of deep cuts, analog gems, and genre-bending surprises; perfect for dancing, drifting, or sipping craft cocktails.
