LiNK: Liberty in North Korea
Performing Arts Theater at College of the Redwoods
College of the Redwoods will host a free presentation by a group of LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) Nomads on Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m. in the CR Theater.
Audience members can learn about a day in the life of ordinary North Koreans and find out how the heroic grassroots efforts of the Jangmadang (Black Market) Generation are changing the nation from within.
The LiNK Nomad presentation will be followed by a Q and A session and a screening of “Seoul Train,” a gripping documentary of the life and death of North Koreans as they try to escape their homeland and China.
This event is presented by the CR LiNK Student Union, and supported by the CR Multicultural and Diversity Committee of the Faculty Senate, the CR Mathematics, Science, Behavioral and Social Sciences departments, and by the Associated Students of CR. The event is sponsored by The Bayview Motel, Eureka.
