Live Art with Sarah Vitello

Fortuna’s First Friday and Eel River Brewing Company present LIVE ART with photographer Sarah Vitello. Vitello will display her portfolio of surf, action, and wave photographs at the Eel River Brewing pub while doing what she does best, capturing memories on film. Local surfers and beachgoers may recognize Vitello. Bare feet in the sand and camera in hand, she can often be found capturing the beauty of crashing waves and the surfers who navigate them. The result of these photo shoots are once in a life time moments made into a beautiful works of art. Surfing, beyond a demonstration of athleticism, is a spiritual experience of sorts, one that most amateurs don’t get to capture on film. Vitello found that surfers, skim boarders, & body boarders appreciated a professional print of themselves in action. Thus, her business was born. After a photo session, Vitello places business cards on boarder’s vehicles. All they have to do is email her with the location and date of their surf session, and she will set them up with prints. Though Eel River Brewing Company doesn’t have waves to surf, they do have good times to be had. In addition to showcasing some of her latest work, Vitello will be taking photographs of people in their element. Be it a family dinner, girl’s night out, or date night, she will give Eel River Brewing pub goers something to remember.
