Live Pumpkin Carving with Halloween Wars Veterans

Organic Matters Ranch

On Sunday, October 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Organic Matters Ranch will present live pumpkin carving with Halloween Wars veterans Sarah “Bloodstain” Blostein, Alan Silva and Mike Craghead.

The trio met on the set of Season 14 of Food Network’s Halloween Wars, which aired in 2024. Sarah’s team won!

Alan made the trip from LA to Organic Matters in 2025, and this year Sarah will also be joining from Canada. Oct. 4 will be a rare Humboldt opportunity to see three professional pumpkin carvers in action!

Visit Organic Matters Ranch at 6821 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka (“Old Arcata Road” just north of Freshwater), hunt for your perfect (or perfectly imperfect) pumpkin, and say hello to the pumpkin-carving weirdos on October 4!
Mike returns to the patch on Sunday, October 11 (see below for more!)
