Sometimes it’s only when everything shifts that we begin to see our lives clearly. Redwood Curtain Rising, by Nancy Resnick, is an emotionally resonant novel about chosen family, healing and the courage it takes to write a new life chapter at any age. Set in the remote and rugged beauty of Humboldt County, three women meet at the exact moment their worlds are about to change. Through deepening friendship, each faces what she has lost, what she longs for, and the fragile promise of new beginnings. Perfect for readers who love stories about reinvention, family secrets, healing, and personal growth, Redwood Curtain Rising is a story that will stay with you long after the last page. Attendees will hear an excerpt read by Nancy and engage in a discussion centering around themes in the book.
