Luffenholtz Beach Nature Walk

Enjoy an early-morning low tide on beautiful Luffenholtz Beach near Trinidad with a beach walk led by geologist and naturalist Danny O’Shea. Saturday, June 16, from 8 to 10 a.m. Learn more about the geology and the intertidal creatures that make their homes on the rocks and in tide pools on this part of the Humboldt coast. Meet at Luffenholtz Beach parking area on Scenic Drive, about two miles south of Trinidad. Reservations are required by calling 707-677-2501, or email carol@trinidadcoastallandtrust.org.
