Lumberjack Weekend 2025

Cal Poly Humboldt

Get ready for an unforgettable, groovy weekend at Cal Poly Humboldt’s annual Lumberjack Weekend 2025. From Thursday, Oct.  2, to Sunday, Oct. 5, the campus will come alive with live music, carnival games, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.

“Lumberjack Weekend is a chance to see the very best of Cal Poly Humboldt come alive—from the creativity of our students and alumni to the traditions that connect generations of Lumberjacks. It’s a weekend that blends fun, music, and community spirit, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus to celebrate together,” says Michael Moore, Jr., associate director of the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center, which coordinates the festivities alongside Forever Humboldt, Athletics, and the Office of Student Life.

This weekend is full of special events for the entire Lumberjack family, including a Block Party featuring Parliament-Funkadelic with the legendary George Clinton, food, music, and games. On Thursday, check out the Lumberjack Drag Show, and on Friday, the Maker’s Market. Don’t forget to say hi at the Farmer’s market on Saturday before the Block Party begins. Additionally, there will be a family mixer on Friday evening and a forest Hike on Sunday morning to wrap up the festivities.

A rundown of the scheduled events is available at homecoming.humboldt.edu.

All attendees must register for Lumberjack Weekend for the block party, including students, staff, alumni, donors, families, and friends. Guests who haven’t preregistered will be admitted after those who have, so sign up early to secure your spot. Register here.
