Lynn Breedlove: 45 Thought Crimes

Northtown Books

Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m., Northtown Books welcomes Lynn Breedlove to read and sign his new poetry book “45 Thought Crimes”. Lynn is singer for the band Tribe 8, COMMANDO and The Homobiles, and creator of Lynnee Breedlove’s One Freak Show, a comic solo show on gender. The ensuing book won the 2010 Lambda Literary Award in the transgender category. He is also the founder of Homobiles, the indie non-profit ride service for the LGBTIQ community and its allies, which, along with his creative work, won him the 2012 Harvey Milk LGBT Club Award for Activism. “45 Thought Crimes,” is spirituality for skeptics, church at a punk show, a letter to bees, love in a riot, compassionate table flipping.
