Magic Hour Makers’ Market & Intuitive Art Making Tarot Salon
A special Magic Hour Makers’ Market and Intuitive Art Making Tarot Salon brings an evening of community and creative intuition to the Historic Eagle House Hotel on Friday, Dec. 5.
Free and open to the public, the Magic Hour Makers’ Market will run from 4:30-6:30, on the second floor of the Eagle House. Attendees are encouraged to check out happy hour at Phatsy Kline’s and bring their refreshments up to the market to shop local mystical artisans’ goods and curated vintage. Vendors include past Tarot Salon vendors like Gayatri, Metamorphosis, Traveling Tarot, and new makers like Witch in the Woods and Ted Hsu.
From 6:30-8:30, Geneva Elise of Pop Culture Healing and Holly Hilgenberg of Stained Ghost will be co-facilitating the last Tarot Salon of the year, focusing on the topic of art and tarot. Attendees will have the opportunity to offer and receive tarot readings with other participants, followed by an intuitive art making exercise inspired by the readings.
Elise began offering Tarot Salons at the Sunshine Prophecy in Oakland over two years ago, and has been hosting salons in Humboldt since last year. Elise says she created Tarot Salon “to build community amongst tarot readers and the tarot curious, giving readers of all levels the opportunity to sharpen their intuition and deepen their practice.”
The community is invited to join for both events, or just one. Those who want to attend this month’s limited capacity Tarot Salon should pre-register at popculturehealing.com/tarotsalon.
