Make Some Tiny Art!
The Humboldt County Library is looking for artists of all ages and skill levels to participate in its 4th annual Tiny Art Show!
The Tiny Art Show is a county-wide exhibition made up of miniature works of art created by the community and displayed in all Humboldt County Library branches.
Starting on Thursday, July 17, artists of all ages are encouraged to pick up a free Tiny Art Kit – which includes a 3-by-3-inch canvas – at their local Humboldt County Library branch. Artists can use any art supplies of their own to create their work; the only limits are that the provided canvas must be used and that participants are limited to one entry each.
Kits will be available at all Humboldt County Library branches and the Bookmobile from July 17 through the month of August. Artwork should be returned by Friday, Aug. 29 to the library branch of the artist’s choice; art will be displayed at the branch where it is returned.
Starting in September, each Library branch will create a Tiny Art Show exhibit to show off their community’s talents.
