Mask Making with Sean Lang a Family Literacy Party

Join Humboldt Literacy Project and Humboldt County Library for a special free event for children and families in Eureka and in the Eel River Valley. Join Sean Lang in Masks and Maskmaking! Learn how masks tell stories and how to tell your own story! Mask maker and physical theater artist Sean Lang is a Dell Arte’ graduate who will introduce some of his characters born out of the art of the Mask and then will guide participants in making a paper plate mask. Through play everyone will discover the character each mask will become!

This is a free event for children and the adults who love them! Attendees get to choose their own free book to keep.
